In order to make the best use of the expensive and limited internal Flash memory of any IC recorder audio editing function is essential to extract only the useful material from the large raw audio file recorded. PAW-120 is designed to comply with the following professional features:
- The only professional palm-size IC recorder embedded with a MPEG waveform editor.
- Waveform data generated automatically while recording.
- Zoom In function to allow detailed waveform editing in frame precision. Zoom Out function to allow easy Jog and Search.
- Non-destructive editing to allow unlimited redo/undo actions.
- Large and high contrast OLED dual colour display for easy editing.
The MPEG file generated by PAW120 contains waveform data and can be recognized by any standard MPEG editor such as Digigram's Xtrack. The waveform can be displayed without recalculation by the editor. This direct display of MPEG waveform without conversion to PCM format will tremendously increase the processing speed of the editor.
PAW120 supports BWF file format which can be easily integrated into the existing automation system of radio station with rich metadata, for example, the Markers.
